PDFiva is a browser-based collection of everyday PDF utilities for people who need to finish a document task quickly. You can combine PDF files, split pages, reduce file size, convert between PDF and common image formats, rotate pages, protect documents with a password, or unlock a document when you have its password.
The processing workflows are designed to run on your device. That means your selected documents are handled by the web application in your browser instead of being sent to a PDFiva upload server. Because browser processing uses your device's available memory and processing power, very large or unusually complex PDFs may take longer or fail where a smaller document succeeds.
Choose the right PDF tool
Merge PDF is useful when several related documents need to become one file. Split PDF creates a separate PDF for each page. Compress PDF is intended for documents that are too large to share conveniently. For image workflows, JPG to PDF and PNG to PDF turn image files into PDFs, while PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG create image versions of PDF pages.
For document security, Protect PDF can add password-based PDF encryption, while Unlock PDF is intended for files you are authorized to open and for which you know the password. Rotate PDF corrects page orientation without requiring a desktop PDF editor.

Do I need an account to use PDFiva?
No account is required. You can select a supported file, run the available browser-based tool, and download the result without creating a PDFiva account.
Does PDFiva work on mobile?
Yes. The interface is designed responsively for phones, tablets and desktop screens.
Where are advertisements shown?
Ads are intentionally separated from the active tool workflow. Empty ad slots remain invisible until an advertising provider is configured.
Is my PDF processed locally?
The current PDFiva tools in this release process the selected document in your browser. Files are handled locally by the front-end application rather than uploaded to a PDFiva processing endpoint. Third-party libraries are loaded from their published CDNs, but your selected document bytes are not sent to PDFiva by this interface.
